The Power of Forgiveness.

The old saying echoes,”Forgive and Forget”. I can promise that, it is easy said than done. By doing it, is another level of maturity. When we hold resentment towards someone, we are bound to them or condition with emotion link that is strong than steel. Letting go and forgiving is the only way to freedom. Forgiving is giving an inmate freedom and realizing that, the inmate was you.

Hatred Bleeds Murder’s

In mid 90’s, Rwanda darkest hour come to life. Killing was happen all over the country and in the end, people were left without their loved ones, food and with no place to call home. I read an amazing story about a lady who knew the killer of her family. Fortunately, she left the country and went to USA but she was not able to move on with life. She come back to Rwanda and met with her family killer, she looked at him in the eye and said i forgive you for what you did. She went ahead to adopt children from the community that killed her own.

From her story, in order for you to move forward, you need to forgive those who hurt you. Today Rwanda, is one of the most and fast developing country in Africa and all this is due to forgiveness. If you cannot forgive and forget, choose one.

True Beauty in Forgiving

Forgiveness does not erase the bitter past but it changes the memory of the past into hope of our future. forgiving is hard choice to make but it is possible. The most important thing is to forgive yourself and others and you will see the most beautiful form of love in action, your reward will be the untold peace and happiness.

The weak cannot forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong by Mahatma Gandhi.
